  7. WARNING FOR WINDOWS FOR WORKGROUPS 3.11 USERS

It has been reported that under some circumstances, the Organiser and it's install program are unable to create directories when 32bit FILE access is enabled.  If you experience this problem, please switch off 32bit File Access from the 386 Enhanced icon under Control Panel.  You may safely re-enable this option as soon as the Organiser has been installed and you have created all your "users".

  13. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

  15. Microsoft Windows 3.1 or later running in Standard or Enhanced mode. A display driver capable of 16 or more colours. A hard disk with approximately 1MB available.  The Organiser needs about 600k free memory to run and is also compatible with OS/2, requiring v2.1 or later.

WARNING: The Organiser will not display correctly on displays with fewer than 16 colours.  If you are using a 2 colour mode please switch to a 16 colour mode.  Specifically, if you are using the VGA Mono driver, switch to the standard VGA driver before you start to use the Organiser - the VGA driver is quite capable of running on mono-VGA displays and provides a much better picture quality than the standard VGAMONO driver.

For full registration information, including site licensing and multiple copies, please refer to the dialogue box displayed on exiting the Organiser.  A registration form is available in REGISTER.WRI.  An alternative form for all NGS products is in REGISTER.DOC.  Please use one of these forms if at all possible.

If you are upgrading from Gorin's Organiser for DOS, it is essential that you follow the instructions printed on the "Upgrading from Gorin's Organiser for DOS" sheet.  If you do not have this sheet, please send a stamped addressed envelope to NGS for a free copy.  If you already have a Registered version of Gorin's Organiser for DOS, you can upgrade to the Registered Windows version for รบ19.95 by enclosing a printout of your REG.VGA file with your order.

  51. INSTALLATION

  53. Run the INSTALL program from Program or File Manager to install Organiser for Windows. If you do not use Program Manager, please add the program ORGWIN.EXE to your application launchpad.
